Yes, please take care of your tour guide! It is customary to provide a tip of 15 to 20 percent of the tour’s retail price. If you enjoyed the tour, please be sure to take care of our tour guides! Please note that groups of 5 or more will be assessed an 18 percent gratuity of the ticket price.

We encourage our guests to bring a bottle of water, umbrella or poncho in case of rain, cash or credit card for any desired purchases, and a camera.

They are all great! It really depends on how much time you want to spend, how much food you want to eat, what you want to see, and how much you want to spend. Want to experience the college culture, history, and college town foods and visit some of the restaurants in the historical district? Then go with the Downtown tour. Or if you prefer a more food rich experience, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, food, and fun in the classy New Town tour. Our most popular tour is the Merchants Square/Colonial Tour.

Yes. Please let us know when booking your tour. We have a gluten-free and vegetarian tour in new town and can make other special arrangements upon request. We will let you know if your request cannot be met.

The combined portion sizes are the equivalent to a very large, diverse, and delicious meal. Think of it as a five course meal!

Water is provided at each location. If you wish to purchase sodas, alcoholic beverages, or other drinks, you may purchase them from the restaurants directly.

Wear whatever is comfortable, yet appropriate dining attire. Since we will do some walking, comfortable shoes and clothing are encouraged.

Our prices for children are $20 for those under 16 years of age and they will have food from one or two fewer restaurants than the adult reservations. All children must purchase a ticket regardless of age, even if you do not intend for them to eat, because they require seating and space at the restaurants. Please contact us for special situations– we want you to experience one of our tours and are happy to work with you.

Tours are held rain, snow, or shine. Events will only be canceled and tickets rescheduled under extreme weather, such as hurricanes or blizzards, which force the restaurants to close. In these events we are happy to reschedule your tour free of charge, within six months.

Tour group sizes range from a minimum of two to a maximum of twelve customers, plus one tour guide. There may be two tour guides depending on the tour.

Some people prefer to be on a tour in a larger group with other people, while others prefer a more private experience. If you want to guarantee that you will go on a tour with other people, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. On the other hand, if you want a private tour, either for couples or groups, please let us know. There is a small additional charge for reserved private food tours. Whether you want to attend with other people or prefer a small experience, we’re here to accommodate you.
